Dr. Alyssa Miceli earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she graduated summa cum laude. She then obtained a dual medical and master of science degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine as part of the Academic Medicine Scholars Program. She completed her internship at University Hospitals in Cleveland, OH and then completed her residency training in dermatology at Orange Park Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL, where she served as chief resident. During her residency, Dr. Miceli was honored with the American Academy of Dermatology Award for Excellence in Patient Care and received several research grants.

Dr. Miceli is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She has authored numerous academic publications and has presented at national medical conferences. Dr. Miceli practiced in Michigan where she enjoyed teaching dermatology residents before relocating to Connecticut. A native of New York, Dr. Miceli is excited to be back on the east coast and provide dermatologic care to all ages in this community. She practices medical, pediatric, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology and has a special interest in skin cancer prevention and detection with use of dermoscopy.
