Dr. Jonathan R. Zirn is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical School . After finishing his internship in Internal Medicine at the New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, he went on to complete dual residencies in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology and Dermatology, also at the New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. He completed his training by performing a Fellowship in Dermatopathology at the New York University Medical Center .

Dr. Zirn continues to teach Dermatopathology at the Yale University Medical Center in New Haven, CT. Dr. Zirn is one of the few nationwide dermatologists who is triple-Boarded in Dermatology, Pathology, and Dermatopathology. Because of his unique background, he possesses a particular expertise in the management of both inflammatory disorders of the skin and skin cancer. Dr. Zirn maintains an appointment as a Clinical Instructor of Dermatology at Yale University School of Medicine.
